Happy Coincidences

I don’t really believe in one day to celebrate Moms and Dads but as i was going through a friend’s brilliant wildlife photography album today, i thought this image was appropriate on the eve of “Father’s Day”.

A bonnet macaque with its mother. What a beautiful image to signify a parent-child relationship. Photograph by the super talented Angad Achappa.

I love how his photographs tell stories (and how animals seem to willingly pose for him too; this weasel for example.)

He takes you along with him, on a safari into the wild or on a trek in the mountains… and shows you exotic animals and beautiful birds that you’ve only seen in postcards or documentaries.

You travel with him… through his photographs.

Angad Achappa (or Angu as i call him) is a child of the wild and will always remain so.
